Mishti Overseas

The office is at 215, RT Nagar Main Road, right in the middle of JC Nagar. It’s a busy area, so there’s always the sound of horns and buses outside. We have a few desks and some tall filing cabinets filled with papers. The name Mishti Overseas is on the door, but inside it’s just us working on the computers and making phone calls. There are usually stacks of documents that need to be sorted out by the end of the week. We don't have fancy furniture or a big reception area. It’s mostly just a place where we get the logistics and the paperwork done. The walls are a plain off-white, and there’s a clock that ticks a bit too loudly when it’s quiet. We drink a lot of tea throughout the day to keep going. JC Nagar is a good spot because everything is close by, even if the traffic is a mess most afternoons. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we just have to wait it out. We handle a lot of different things, mostly coordinating stuff that goes far away, but we’re just sitting here in this room. The window looks out onto the main road, and I spend a lot of time watching the people go by below. It’s not an exciting place, but the work keeps us occupied from morning until we lock up at night. The air conditioner hums in the corner but it struggles during the peak heat.
