Our office is situated at 254 Brigade Road on Dr B.A Road. Most people around here know Brigade Road very well because it’s always packed with shoppers and people out for a walk in the evenings. Our building is right in the middle of all that activity. Inside, it’s really just a normal, everyday office like any other. There are a lot of computers sitting around and several meeting rooms that almost always have someone sitting in them talking. It might be a big, famous name on the front door, but for those of us who are here every day, it’s just where we go to earn a living. We walk past the same little shops and street vendors every single morning just to get to the main entrance. The security guards have seen us so often that they know most of our names by heart now. It isn't nearly as fancy or high-tech as some people might imagine it to be from the outside. There are regular old desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a small kitchen area that always seems to need a bit of cleaning up. We spend a vast amount of our time just staring at screens and typing, which is what most office work is anyway. Sometimes we try to go out for a quick walk during our lunch break just to get some fresh air and see the sun, even though the sidewalks are usually completely blocked with people. It’s a bit of a long trip to get here every day because of the traffic.
