You can find Microport Infotech down on Sadar Patrappa Road, which everyone just calls SP Road. We are at number 4 in P R Lane, right off the 3rd Cross. If you know the area, you know how packed it gets with people and carts full of electronics. Our shop is quite small, but we pack it full of motherboards, processors, and all kinds of computer parts. It’s a bit dusty because of all the construction nearby, and there’s always someone shouting outside. We’ve been here since the days when everyone was still using floppy disks. The walls are lined with metal shelves from floor to ceiling. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our customers are regulars who come in knowing exactly what cable or chip they need. We spend our days unpacking boxes and checking inventory. It’s noisy and a bit chaotic, but that’s just how SP Road is. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait a bit, but we keep a few torches handy. We don't really have a website that we update often, so people just call us or drop by. There’s a tea stall right next door that makes the best ginger chai, which helps us get through the long afternoons. It’s a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat, but we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. It’s just how we do things here.
