Microland

At Microland, we’re located over at 103 on the Iiimain Road, specifically in Iishop Lane in Basavanagudi. That’s in the Bangalore 4 area. It’s one of those older parts of the city that still has a lot of character. Our shop isn't hard to find once you’re on the main road. We’ve been here long enough that we’ve seen the shops around us change hands many times. We do a lot of different things with computers and electronics. It’s mostly hands-on work. Meetings don't really happen here; we’re usually at the workbench or checking something on a server. The lane can get pretty crowded during the middle of the day, so it’s always a bit lively. We aren't looking to become some giant corporation. We like being a local fixture in Basavanagudi. People stop by to chat or to ask us to look at something that stopped working. We give them a straight answer and see what can be done. It’s a simple way of doing business, but it suits us just fine. The building itself is old but sturdy, and it keeps us out of the sun and rain while we work. We have our routine, we have our regular callers, and we just keep moving forward one day at a time. It’s a decent life and the work is always interesting enough to keep us busy. There isn't much more to it than that, really.
