You can find us at 12 Shiva Sankalpa, tucked away on 4th Cross, 7th Main in J P Nagar. This is Bangalore 560070, and it’s a fairly quiet residential pocket compared to the madness of the main roads. Microland Pvt Ltd has its office here, and it feels more like a house than a corporate headquarters, which we actually prefer. We have a few rooms filled with desks and equipment, and the walls are decorated with old calendars and notes we’ve scribbled to ourselves. The 4th cross is a narrow street, so parking can be a bit of a struggle sometimes, but we make it work. We spend our days mostly on our computers or in small meetings around the kitchen table. There’s a big tree outside that keeps the front room cool even when the sun is out. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a security guard at a desk. We just answer the door ourselves when someone knocks. It’s a very low-key environment. We’ve been in J P Nagar for a long time, and we know the local shops and the people who walk their dogs past our gate every evening. It’s a good place to focus on work without too many distractions. We aren't interested in being the biggest company out there; we just want to do our jobs well and enjoy the neighborhood while we’re at it.
