Our office is located at Madivala Bhawar Chambers, right at Chickpet Cross 57. It’s a hectic part of the city, and Microcell Software India Pvt Ltd is right in the thick of it. The building itself, Bhawar Chambers, has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain out. We are on the floor where you can hear the street vendors and the honking from Chickpet Cross all day long. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of desks and a lot of tangled cables. We try to keep the cables tidy, but it never seems to last more than a week. There’s always someone in the small kitchen area making tea or heating up lunch. We aren't a massive operation, even if the name Microcell Software India Pvt Ltd sounds like it might be. It’s just a group of us working through code and spreadsheets. The lights are those long fluorescent tubes that sometimes flicker if you don’t hit the switch just right. We’ve got some plants in the corner, though they look a bit sad because they don't get much sun. People come and go through the doors of 57 Chickpet Cross all the time. It’s a busy life here in Madivala. We don't have a receptionist, so you just have to knock and someone will look up from their screen eventually. It is just a regular office where we get things done.
