Metrocorp Infrastructure

Our office is located at 569/A, 16th Main in Manjunatha Nagar. We are right in the heart of Bangalore. It is a very busy area with lots of shops and people around. We do a lot of planning for construction and infrastructure projects here. The office is often full of large blueprints and rolls of paper that get in the way. It can be a bit of a mess, but we generally know where we put things. We have heavy wooden desks and some filing cabinets that are packed with old records. I spend a lot of my time on the phone talking to workers at the different sites. It involves a lot of checking on materials and making sure the trucks arrived on time. The noise from the street can be quite loud, so we usually keep the windows shut. We have a small desk fan that makes a constant humming sound while we work. It is a very basic setup without any fancy bells or whistles. We just need a quiet enough spot to do our calculations and drawings. We have been in Manjunatha Nagar for a long time now. We go to the same little stall nearby to get our tea every afternoon. The walls are just a plain white color and we have a few maps of the city pinned up. We aren't here to look fancy. We just focus on the infrastructure work.
