Our office is located at 511 Mahathma Gandhi Road inside Mittal Tower. Being on MG Road means there is always noise from the street below. It is a busy building with a lot of people moving in and out of the elevators all day long. We handle a lot of travel details here. Usually, the phones are ringing or someone is typing out an itinerary for a trip. It gets quite hectic during the peak seasons when everyone wants to go away at the same time. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get things sorted. Sometimes the air conditioning in the tower acts up, but we manage. Most of us have been working in travel for years, so we know the drill. We spend our time checking flight times and looking at hotel bookings. It’s mostly paperwork and computer screens. Lunch usually happens at the desks or we grab something quick from the vendors nearby. Mittal Tower is an old landmark, so people usually find us without too much trouble. We have some maps pinned to the walls and a lot of folders stacked up. It is not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. If you come by, you’ll probably see us buried under a pile of booking forms. We try to keep it simple and get the tickets printed on time.
