37 Crescent Hotel

37 Crescent Hotel is located at 37 Crescent Road, right near the Race Course in Bangalore. It’s an older building, number 37, and you can see it from the street quite easily. Being near the Race Course means we get a lot of different people coming through. The hotel isn't one of those massive luxury chains. It’s more of a local spot where people stay when they have business in the city. The rooms are basic but they have what you need. We spend a lot of time checking people in and out at the front desk. It gets a bit noisy in the mornings when the city wakes up. We have a small staff and we all do a bit of everything. There’s no big management team here, just us making sure the sheets are clean and the water is running. We like the location because it’s central. You can get to most places in Bangalore from here without too much trouble. The building has some creaks and the elevator is a bit slow, but it has character. We don't have any grand mission statements or fancy brochures. It’s just a place to sleep and keep your bags. We keep things simple and try to be helpful when guests ask for directions or a good place to eat nearby.
