You can find us at 10 Marathahalli, right by the Marathahalli Bridge on the ground floor. We are situated near Tandoori Point, so there is always a lot of activity and the smell of food around our office. Metro Cabs isn't a big flashy company; it is just a small office where we coordinate our drivers and take bookings. The noise from the traffic on the bridge is constant, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We spend a lot of time on our phones and radios, making sure the cars are where they need to be. Sometimes the drivers come in to rest or have a cup of tea between their trips. We have a small seating area, but it's mostly just a place to wait for a bit. It’s a tough business with the traffic in Bangalore being so unpredictable, so we are always checking maps and updates. We don't have a fancy website with apps and stuff; we mostly just talk to people and write things down. It is a very practical operation and we just try to keep the cars moving as best as we can. Some days are more stressful than others, especially when the rain starts and everyone wants a cab at once. We just do our best to manage the fleet and make sure the phones are answered during our shift.
