We are over here in Indiranagar, right on 4th Cross in New Byppanahalli. It is a busy little spot in Bangalore. Most days start with someone trying to find parking near number 22, which is never easy. The office isn't some fancy glass tower, it is just a regular place where we get things done. We spend a lot of time on the phones and looking at screens. Metlifesolutions Consultancy has been around this part of town for a while now. You can hear the traffic outside and the neighborhood sounds while we work. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when the schools nearby let out, but we have gotten used to it. The staff mostly brings lunch from home, and we eat together when things are not too frantic. We do not have a big reception area or anything like that. People just walk in and we point them to whoever they need to talk to. It feels like a small family here most of the time. Bangalore weather helps, especially when we open the windows in the afternoon. We focus on the consultancy work we have on our desks. There is always some paperwork to sort out or a client to call back. It is just a straightforward place to work. We do not bother with fancy corporate stuff. We just come in, do what needs doing, and head home when the sun goes down. It is a long day sometimes, but that is just how it goes in this city.
