Metal Impacts

If you go down to the Peenya Industrial Area and find Princess Street, you’ll see us at B-149. This part of town is always loud because of all the factories, and we fit right in. Metal Impacts is mostly about the machines and the heat. We deal with metal all day, so our hands are usually covered in grease or soot. The floor is concrete and it’s seen better days, honestly. We have a few big presses and some older equipment that still works better than the new stuff they try to sell us. It gets very hot in the summer, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through Princess Street. Sometimes cats wander in from the street looking for a place to hide. We don’t mind. Our team is small, just a few guys who have been doing this since they were young. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or a receptionist. If someone comes by, they usually just walk straight into the shop and find one of us. It’s not a place for clean clothes or quiet talk. We keep the scrap metal piled up in the corner until the truck comes to pick it up on Fridays. It’s just a regular metal shop doing what needs to be done every day. We’ve been here for years and the street hasn't changed much.
