Mercury Travels

Our office is tucked away in the CSI Compound on Lalbagh Road. It’s number 23/7, so it’s not too hard to find if you know where the main landmarks are. Being near Lalbagh means we get to see a lot of greenery when we step out for tea. We spend most of our time looking at maps and sorting out train or flight schedules for people. Bangalore traffic can be a nightmare, so we appreciate that this area is relatively accessible for our regulars. The building is older, but it has some character to it. We don't have a big fancy lobby. Instead, we have stacks of folders and a few desks that have seen better days. Every day is different because someone might want to go to a nearby hill station while the next person is planning a long trip across the country. We just sit here and piece the details together. It's mostly about getting the dates right and making sure the tickets actually show up in the inbox. We’ve been in this part of 560027 for quite some time. Sometimes the computers act up, or the internet goes slow, but we manage. We aren't a giant corporation with hundreds of workers. It's just a few of us trying to make sense of travel routes. If you’re around Lalbagh Road, stop by. We’re usually here until late evening, just getting things sorted for the next day's departures.
