Meltech Computers

You can find us at No 43 Wheeler Road. We are right across from the Indian Gymkhana Ground, which is a spot most people in the area know well. Our shop is usually packed with all sorts of computer gear. We have stacks of old towers, monitors, and boxes of cables scattered around. It’s not the neatest place you’ll ever see. We spend most of our time hunched over laptops or desktops, trying to figure out why they aren't working. Sometimes it’s a broken screen, other times it’s a virus or a dead hard drive. We don't have a big team or a fancy service desk. It’s just a few of us here. We tell people straight what's wrong with their machine. If it's not worth fixing, we’ll say so. Wheeler Road gets quite a bit of traffic, so we see people from all walks of life popping in. Some are students from nearby, others are office workers. We also have people who just need a quick printout or a new mouse. The shop can get a bit warm in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We’ve been at this location for a good while now. We know the neighbors and the local shops. It’s a decent place to be, and we enjoy being the local computer guys.
