Megha Priya Travels

We are tucked away in Mubarak Mohalla, over in J.C. Nagar. You’ll find us on the 5th Cross in Kempaiah Block at number 22. It’s a busy neighborhood and we’ve been running Megha Priya Travels from here for quite some time now. We’ve got a few cars and drivers who know the Bangalore roads better than anyone else. Mostly, we help people get to the airport or take families out for weekend trips to places like Mysore or Coorg. It’s a family-run thing. My brother handles the bookings and I’m usually out or checking on the vehicles. The office isn't much to look at, just a small room with a calendar and some keys on the wall. We don't spend money on fancy ads. People around here just know where we are. If someone needs a ride at four in the morning, they call us. We try to keep the cars clean and the drivers on time, though the Bangalore traffic usually has other plans. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the maintenance and the permits. We just do our best to get people where they need to go without too much fuss. Sometimes the phone rings all night, especially during the wedding season. That's just part of the job in this part of town. We've lived in J.C. Nagar forever, so we aren't going anywhere. It’s a simple business, but it keeps us very busy every day of the week.
