Megh Tours & Travels

Down here at 159/4 in Chickpet, we run Megh Tours & Travels. It’s a small place, as you can imagine given where we are. Chickpet is famous for being crowded and our shop is right in the thick of it. We don’t have a lot of room for fancy furniture, just enough for the computers and a place for people to sit while we talk about their travel plans. Most of what we do is booking tickets and organizing transport for people who need to get somewhere without a lot of trouble. The streets outside are always noisy with carts and people walking by, but inside we just focus on the work. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t need a GPS to find our way around the back alleys. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of employees. It’s just us, making sure the bus arrives on time or the train ticket is confirmed. We get a lot of regulars who stop by because they’ve been coming to us for years. We don’t make big claims about our services. We just do the job and hope the customer has a good trip. Sometimes the internet is slow or the phones act up, but we manage to get things done eventually. It’s a typical Chickpet business, really—working hard in a small space and staying busy day after day.
