Basavanagudi is one of those parts of Bangalore that still feels like the old days. Our office at 89, South End Road is right in the heart of that. It’s a beautiful area with big trees and plenty of old houses. Mecon Limited has been in this spot for quite a while. The office itself is functional and a bit old-fashioned. We don't have those open-plan layouts you see in the new tech parks. We have actual rooms and hallways. It’s a bit quieter here than our other Bangalore spots. You can walk out the door and find a good tiffin room or a coffee stall within a few minutes. That’s probably the best part about being on South End Road. Inside, we are mostly focused on our technical projects. There’s a lot of talk about engineering and design flowing through the rooms. We aren't much for corporate jargon or big motivational posters. We just show up, do the calculations, and handle the project management. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or the power flickers, but we just wait it out and get back to it. It’s a very steady environment. Most of the staff have been living in South Bangalore for years, so there’s a real local feel to the office. We just keep our heads down and do the work that’s assigned to us without making a scene.
