Mechanical Design Consultant

We've been at 48/37, Akshobhya for a while now. Being near Yenkay Farm and the R.V. Engineering College Post means there is always some activity around here. Our work at Mechanical Design Consultant is mostly about getting the technical details right. Most days it’s just a few of us sitting at desks with blueprints or on the computer, trying to figure out how a specific part should fit. It isn’t glamorous, but it keeps us busy. The office in Dubasi Palya is small enough that we all know each other’s lunch schedules. Sometimes the traffic near the college gets a bit much, especially in the afternoons. We handle a variety of design jobs, mostly things people need for local projects or repairs. It’s a lot of double-checking measurements and making sure the math adds up before anything gets sent out. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. People usually just drop by when they have a problem with a machine or a sketch that needs looking at. It’s quiet enough to get the work done, except when the college crowd is out. We’ve found that being in this part of town works for us because it’s close to the workshops we often deal with. It's just a regular workplace where we try to be practical about the designs we put on paper. We take our time with the drawings because rushing usually leads to mistakes later on.
