Mayura Kulkarni

I’m Mayura Kulkarni, and I’ve set up my place at 37, 7th Cross in Cambridge Layout. It’s right on Sai Mandir Road here in Bangalore. This area is quite nice because it’s tucked away from the main road noise but still close enough to everything. I’ve been here for a few years now. The office isn't very big, but it fits everything I need. I usually have some tea in the morning and start going through my list for the day. Living in Bangalore means dealing with the traffic, so I’m glad I don’t have to commute too far to get here. The 7th Cross is a quiet street mostly. You can hear the bells from the temple sometimes, which is actually quite nice to listen to while working. I handle all the daily operations myself. I didn’t want a big corporate career, so I chose to do this instead. It’s more personal. The walls are covered with notes and calendars because I tend to forget things if I don’t write them down. It’s a bit of a lived-in space, not a showroom. People who visit usually comment on how relaxed it feels compared to the big offices downtown. I don’t use any fancy systems. I just do what needs doing and try to stay on top of the paperwork. It’s just me in a quiet corner of Bangalore, keeping things moving along as best as I can.
