Mayur Novelty & Gift Centre

The shop is in Chikkalasandra, right at number 31. It’s not a huge place, but we keep a lot of stuff on the shelves. You might have to squeeze through the aisles if it’s a busy day. We have things for birthdays, toys for kids, and some household items that people usually need last minute. It gets a bit messy sometimes when new stock arrives in those big cardboard boxes. We’ve been here for a good while now. People from the neighborhood know us. We don't have a website or anything like that. If someone needs a gift wrapped, we do it right there on the counter, though my tape dispenser always seems to jam when I’m in a hurry. The lights inside could be brighter, I suppose. It feels like a real local shop where you can find a bit of everything if you look long enough. Sometimes we sit outside on a plastic chair when it's quiet. Usually, it's just one or two of us working here. We handle the cash and help find things. It’s simple work. We know most of the regulars by face. It's a nice spot in Chikkalasandra. We try to keep the popular items in stock, like the latest small toys or basic stationery. It’s just a small family business, really. No big corporate rules here. Just a shop where we try our best to keep everyone happy with what they find. It’s home for us, honestly.
