You can find us over at 2282/A Halasuru, right near the Jakkur Aerodrome. Sometimes you can hear the planes, which is kind of interesting when you’re working on a new design. The shop floor is usually covered in bits of fabric and thread. We don’t mind the mess much because it means we’re actually making things. It’s a busy spot, especially when we have a big order to finish. We’ve got a few sewing machines that have been with us for a long time. They make a specific clicking sound that I’ve grown used to over the years. My desk is usually buried under stacks of patterns and measuring tapes. It isn't a corporate office with glass walls or anything. It's more of a workshop where people are actually cutting and stitching all day. We drink a lot of tea to keep going. The neighbors are nice, and we often chat when we’re taking a break outside. The air around the aerodrome is a bit different than the city center, feels a bit more open. We keep the racks full of whatever we’re currently working on. People stop by to see what’s new or to pick up something they ordered. It’s a simple way to run a business. We focus on the clothes and making sure the fit is right. There’s always a pile of scrap material in the corner that we need to clear out eventually.
