Mathru Sign Ads

Mathru Sign Ads is based at 282 Nagashettyhalli. We are situated on the 29th Main, 2nd Cross, which is pretty close to Manjunath Layout. The workshop is usually full of half-finished signs and scraps of vinyl or metal. It can get pretty messy when we have a big project going on. We’ve been doing this for a while now under the name Mathru Sign Ads. The space isn’t very big, so we have to be careful where we step so we don’t trip over things. The light in the back is a bit flickering, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. Being near Manjunath Layout makes it easy for folks in the neighborhood to find us. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you come by 282, you’ll just see us working on whatever is on the table that day. The neighborhood is quiet enough, which is nice. We spend most of our time measuring, cutting, and printing. It’s a lot of manual work and we often have ink on our hands by the afternoon. We’ve stayed at this address because it works for us. There isn't a lot of ceremony here. We just take the orders and make the signs. It’s a practical way to run a small business. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, other times it is quiet. That’s just life at the shop. The smell of fresh paint is almost always there. We have a small radio that only picks up a few stations, but it keeps us company while we work through the tasks.
