We’ve been running Matha Tours And Travels from our spot on Kanakapura Road for quite some time now. You’ll find us at number 21/ 8, right near Menaka Theater, which usually makes it easy for people to spot the office when they’re coming by to talk about their trips. It’s a busy area and things get pretty loud with the traffic outside, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We mostly spend our days handling bookings and figuring out routes for people who want to get out of the city for a few days. It isn’t always glamorous work, especially when the phones are ringing non-stop or a bus gets delayed, but it’s what we do. The office is a bit small, just a desk and some chairs for people to sit while we look at schedules. Being near the theater means there is always something going on around here. We know the regulars who walk past every morning and the shopkeepers nearby too. Sometimes we just sit and have tea while waiting for the next customer to walk in. It's a simple operation, really. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just us here on Kanakapura Road trying to keep things moving and helping people get where they need to go without too much fuss. It’s a local business through and through, and we like being part of this neighborhood.
