Mataji Fancy & Gift Centre

Mataji Fancy & Gift Centre is over at 184 Byraweshwara Industrial Estate in Krishnarajpuram. It’s an industrial area, so there are lots of workshops and small factories nearby. Our shop is a bit different from the other businesses around here. We keep a lot of small items like toys, hair clips, bangles, and gift sets. It’s a bit crowded inside the shop. We have shelves from the floor to the ceiling. Sometimes we have to move three boxes just to find one specific item a customer wants. We get new things every week, so there is always something different to look at. The dust from the road and the nearby units is a constant thing we deal with. We are always cleaning the glass counters. People from the factories often stop by on their way home to buy something for their kids. We don't have a website or any big advertisements. People just know we are here at number 184. We do some gift wrapping if someone asks, but we aren't experts at it. We just use the paper and tape we have. It’s a family-run kind of place. We open early and stay until late. It’s not a fancy lifestyle, but we like talking to the regulars. If you need a small gift for a birthday or a wedding, we usually have something that fits. It’s just a simple shop in a busy industrial part of town.
