Working at Marvell India Pvt Ltd in Bangalore means being part of the whole tech scene here, but our daily life is pretty grounded. We are located in Karnataka, and anyone who lives in this city knows how the traffic can be, so getting to the office is often the biggest adventure of the day. The office itself is where we spend a lot of time on computers, dealing with data and designs. It is a big building with a lot of different departments, but we mostly stick to our own desks and work through our lists. We have a lot of people coming and going, especially during the middle of the week. There is always a pot of coffee going somewhere and people chatting about their weekend in the break room. We don’t really go for those corporate slogans you see on posters; we just try to get the tasks done so we can go home on time. The area around us is always changing, with new buildings going up and old ones getting knocked down. It’s just the way Bangalore is right now. We’ve got our routine down, from the morning login to the late afternoon meetings. It’s a lot of technical work, but at the end of the day, we are just people trying to do a good job in a very busy city. It’s steady work and it keeps us on our toes through the week.
