Maruthi

Maruthi is a small place located in Jeevanahalli, specifically near the 5th U B Express South area. The address we have is 4.22727272727273 which looks a bit strange on paper, but if you know the neighborhood, you can find us near the main road. The shop is pretty simple and doesn't have a lot of decorations. We have been here for a while now, and most of the locals know us by name. The day usually begins with sweeping the front area and putting out the sign. It is a dusty part of town, so we are always cleaning things off. Inside, there is enough space for a few people to stand and talk. We don't have a big team or a fancy reception area. It is mostly just us handling whatever comes through the door each day. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two in the afternoon, so we just sit by the door where there is more light. People stop in to chat or ask for help with small things, and we do what we can. We use a basic calculator for the math and keep the receipts in a plastic drawer. It is a quiet way to earn a living, and we like being part of the Jeevanahalli community. There is a tea stall just a few doors down that makes the best ginger chai, which is where we usually go when things get a bit slow in the mid-morning.
