Home Zone is situated at No. 45 1St Floor 11Th Main Maruthi Nagar Malleshpalya Main Road. To get to us, you have to walk up a flight of stairs that can be a bit narrow if two people are trying to pass at once. Being on the first floor means we get a good view of the traffic moving along Malleshpalya Main Road. It is always loud out there with buses and bikes honking. Inside the shop, things are a bit quieter, though the dust from the road always finds a way in through the windows. We spend a lot of our time rearranging the items on the shelves and making sure things are where they belong. The floor is tiled and we sweep it at least three times a day because of all the people coming in and out from Maruthi Nagar. There is a small desk in the corner where the ledger stays. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit by the window and wait for the generator or the power to come back. It is a straightforward place. We do not have fancy air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that keep the air moving. If you look for No. 45 1St Floor 11Th Main, you will see our sign. Working here at Home Zone is mostly about keeping things organized and talking to the people who stop by while they are out doing their shopping on the main road.
