Mars Restaurant

You can find us at number 33 on the 10th Cross in Jogupallaya, right in the heart of Ulsoor. This is a very old and busy part of Bangalore with lots of heritage and tiny lanes. Our restaurant is a simple place where we focus on cooking and serving food to the local crowd and people working nearby. The kitchen is always the loudest part of the building, with the sound of pans clattering and the exhaust fan running all day long. We don't have fancy decor or anything like that; it’s mostly just tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. The 10th Cross is quite narrow, so deliveries can be a bit of a pain to manage in the mornings. We have a few regulars who come in every single day for their meals, and we know exactly what they want to order. The staff is just a handful of people who do everything from taking orders to cleaning the floors. It gets really hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going as much as we can. We buy our vegetables and meat from the local market nearby to keep things fresh. It’s a humble spot where the main goal is just to get the food out on the plates. We spend our evenings prepping for the next day after the last customer leaves. It’s a lot of hard work, but it’s what we know. Sometimes we have to close early if the water tank runs dry.
