Mark Laser Co

Our shop is located at A 213 in Electronic City. Being out in this area means we are surrounded by a lot of big tech companies, but our work is a bit more hands-on than most. We work with lasers, mostly for cutting or marking different kinds of materials for our customers. It is very precise work, so the shop floor is often quite quiet while the machines are actually running their cycles. We spend a lot of our time adjusting the settings on the computers and making sure the beams are hitting exactly where they are supposed to. It can get a bit dusty in the workspace depending on what kind of material we are cutting that day. We just wear our safety gear and get on with the tasks. The space we have isn't huge, but it fits the machines and the workbenches we need to do the job. We started this because we were interested in the technology and how it worked. It is quite satisfying to see a really clean cut on a piece of metal or plastic. We don't have a marketing team or anyone like that. Most people find out about us because they heard from a friend or another business that we do a decent job for a fair price. We just sit at the workbench, check the design files, and run the machines. Electronic City is a long commute for some of us, but we like being in an area where things are being made.
