We are located at 51 Munireddy Building right at the Kadabisanahalli Junction. It is a very busy spot on the Outer Ring Road. If you know the area, you know how much traffic there is near JP Morgan. We are about one kilometer away from the Marathahalli Multiplex and roughly three kilometers from Bellandur. It’s a good spot because so many people live and work around here. Our shop is usually full of piles of clothes waiting to be washed or ironed. We spend most of our day standing at the big tables or checking the machines. It gets quite hot in here with all the steam from the irons, especially in the afternoons. We handle all sorts of things like shirts, trousers, and bedsheets. Sometimes people drop off their heavy curtains too. We don't use any fancy apps, just a simple paper book to write down the names and what they brought in. It’s a lot of manual labor, checking the collars and making sure we don’t mix up the socks. My family helps out during the weekends when the bags of laundry really start to pile up. It’s a simple business but it keeps us very busy from morning until late at night. The noise of the traffic outside is always there, but we are used to it by now. We just try to get the clothes clean and back to the owners on time.
