Jyothy Fabricare Services Limited

You can find us over at the Manipal Center on MG Road. It’s a busy building in a very busy part of the city. We spend our days dealing with a lot of laundry and fabric care. Jyothy Fabricare is where people bring their clothes when they don't have the time or the space to do it themselves. We have a lot of big washing machines and dryers that run all day long. The air inside always smells like soap and fresh steam. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with the heat from the pressing machines. We have rows and rows of clothes hanging up, all tagged with different numbers. I spend a lot of my time making sure the right shirt goes back to the right person. The MG Road area is always packed with cars and people, so getting in and out of the center can be a bit of a chore. We have a lot of regular customers who work in the offices nearby. They just drop their bags off in the morning and pick them up later. It’s a fast-paced environment and we have to be careful not to mix anything up. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture in the shop, just the counters and the racks for the clothes. It’s a practical business and we just focus on getting the stains out and the wrinkles pressed for whoever walks in.
