Bangalore Uniforms Industries

Bangalore Uniforms Industries is located at No. 46/6 Anjaneya Temple Road. We are just off Nandi Durga Road in the Marappa Garden area. The temple is right nearby, so we often hear the bells ringing in the mornings. It’s a nice, local feeling to the neighborhood. Our workshop is filled with uniforms of all kinds—mostly for schools and local businesses. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling packed with shirts, trousers, and skirts. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit as much stock as possible. We have a few cutting tables where the fabric gets measured out before it goes to the tailors. It is a very hands-on environment. There is no corporate ladder here; we all just pitch in where we are needed. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how things go. We have a small bench outside where we sit and talk to the neighbors or wait for deliveries. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of character, even if the paint is peeling a bit in the corners. We don't worry about the looks too much as long as the work gets done. It’s a practical place for people who just want to do their jobs and go home.
