Mapcon Consultants is based out of Bhadrappa Estate, number 354, right on the Magadi Main Road in Rajajinagar. If you know Bangalore, you know how busy Magadi Road can get, especially with all the trucks and buses moving through. Our place is tucked into the estate, so it’s a bit shielded from the worst of the road noise, but you can still hear the city hum. It’s a functional space, nothing too pretty to look at, but it works for what we do. We’ve been at this location for a while, and the walls are covered with old charts and some calendars that are probably out of date. We are a small group of people who just like to get things done. There’s no big reception area or anyone waiting to hand you a brochure. Usually, someone will just look up from their desk and ask what you need. We spend most of our time on consulting work, which means a lot of talking and looking over documents. The lights inside are a bit bright, and we really need to get that one chair fixed, but it’s home for us during the day. We don't really have a philosophy or anything; we just take the projects as they come and try to be honest about what we can do. Lunch usually involves someone going out to get idlis from the nearby stall. It's a regular day-to-day grind, and we’re okay with that. We just show up and do our best every morning.
