Mapcon Consultants is situated at Rajajinagar on the 19th F Main Road, specifically in the 1st N Block at number 354. The office is in a residential-looking building, so it feels quite cozy. We have a small porch area where we sometimes stand to get a bit of fresh air. Inside, the floor is tiled and we have a few cabins partitioned off with glass. It’s not a huge operation. There are maybe five or six of us here on a regular day. We spend a lot of our time looking at plans and talking to people on the phone. The neighborhood is fairly peaceful, which is nice because we can actually hear ourselves think. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog barks a lot, but we don't mind too much. We have a small table in the back where we keep the water filter and some cups. Our desks are usually covered in drawings and notes written on scraps of paper. We don't have a receptionist, so if someone knocks on the door, whoever is closest just gets up to answer it. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, though we do get busy when a big project comes in. We’ve been here long enough that we know all the nearby shops. It is a practical place to work without any of the stress of a big city skyscraper. We just focus on the consulting work we have in front of us.
