Manjunatha Vessels

We are over here on Surveyor Street in Basavanagudi. It’s a busy spot, number 21/32. You’ll see the steel and brass things stacked up when you walk past the door. We’ve been at this for a good amount of time now. Mostly, people come in looking for something very specific for their kitchen or maybe a large pot for a local function. It gets a bit crowded in the shop sometimes because there is just so much stuff everywhere. We try to keep it organized but with all these different sizes of vessels, it is a bit of a job. The street outside is always noisy with scooters and people walking to the market. We open up early and stay until the evening. Sometimes the sun hits the metal and everything just glows. It’s just us here working through the day. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. Just the items on the shelves and on the floor. If someone needs a particular size, we usually have to dig it out from the back. That’s how it goes. Basavanagudi has changed a lot but we are still here in the same building. You can find us easily if you know the 21/32 building. We just keep doing what we do, selling these vessels to whoever needs them. It's a simple life. No big talk, just metal and hard work.
