Mangalore Clay Tiles Depot

We have been here on Magadi Main Road for a good while now. The depot is right at Plot No-50, just across from Pooja Haja Mandap in Kamakshipalya. If you are looking for those traditional clay tiles, this is where we keep them stacked up. It gets quite busy with the traffic outside, but inside we just focus on sorting through the stock. People come by asking about roofing mostly. We have the usual Mangalore style tiles that everyone knows. Sometimes the pieces have little chips or the color varies a bit because that is just how clay works when it is fired. We don't try to make it look like a fancy showroom because it is basically a yard with a roof. It gets dusty, and we spend a lot of time moving tiles from one pile to another to find what someone needs. The address is easy to find if you know the landmark. We usually have a few guys here helping to load up trucks or small autos. It is hard work lifting these things all day, especially when it is hot outside. We just keep track of what comes in from the kilns. There isn't much to the office, just a desk and some old ledgers. We prefer it that way. If you need tiles for a shed or a house, you can just walk in and see what we have on the pallets. We stay open until the sun goes down usually.
