India Gypsum Limited

We’re based out in Bangalore, working on the gypsum side of things. India Gypsum Limited has been around this part of Karnataka for quite a while. Our daily life is mostly about managing the job profiles and seeing where the next project is going to be. The office is pretty basic, just some computers and a lot of samples lying around on the floor. Bangalore has changed a lot, with all the new buildings going up, but we just stay focused on our corner of the industry. The traffic is a constant topic of conversation here, especially when someone is late for a meeting. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy stories about us. We’re just a group of people who know a lot about plasterboard and construction. The office gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we have a few fans that keep the air moving. We aren't into the whole high-tech startup vibe. We prefer to just get our hands dirty and make sure the orders are correct. You won't find any bean bags or free snacks here, just hard work and a lot of phone calls. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We take things one day at a time and try to keep our customers happy without making a big fuss about it. We’ve got plenty to do and not enough hours in the day to do it all.
