Maneesh Trading Co. is located at Plot No-262 in Old Tharagupet. If you’ve ever been near Chickpet, you know how crowded and busy these streets can get. It’s a constant movement of carts, people, and trucks. Our place is right in the middle of that chaos. The building is old, like most things in this part of the city, and the stairs are a bit steep. We’ve been at this plot for quite a while now. Inside, it’s mostly stacks of goods and some very old wooden desks. We don’t have air conditioning, so we just keep the fans going all day. Trading is a loud business here; you can hear the haggling from the street below from morning to night. It’s not a place for someone who likes peace and quiet. We spend our time checking the weights and making sure the ledgers match up. Sometimes we lose track of time because there’s always another load coming in. We don’t have a fancy website or a lobby. If you want to talk to us, you just walk in and find someone behind a pile of boxes. It’s how business has been done in Tharagupet for a long time, and we just keep following that tradition. It’s hard work, and the air is often thick with dust, but it’s our daily life.
