Mamatha Nursing Home

We are located at No. 69/1 & 2 on 2nd Cross, Mission Road. Our place is very close to Chenamma School, so we’re used to the sounds of parents dropping off their kids and the general buzz of a school nearby. Mission Road is a pretty central part of Bangalore, so it’s easy to get to, though the traffic can be a headache in the evenings. The nursing home has been here for years, and it shows in a comfortable, worn-in kind of way. We have a few different rooms and a reception area that usually has a stack of newspapers for people to read. It’s a family-run sort of environment where most of the nurses and staff have been working together for a long time. We don't have any flashy signs or high-tech decor; it’s just a functional medical space with tiled floors and painted walls. We spend a lot of time talking to the families who come in and making sure they know where everything is. The back garden area is small but has a couple of trees that give some shade during the hot afternoons. We just go about our business, checking on patients and keeping the place running smoothly. It’s a lot of routine work, like changing linens and updating charts, but it’s what we do every day. The nights can be long, but we always have someone on duty.
