Malu Group

Our place is at 108, Ballahalli Road, right in Kogilu Village. Being out here in Yelahanke, it’s a bit different than being in the middle of the city. There’s a bit more space, but the roads can get pretty muddy when it rains. Malu Group is basically just a few of us working together in this building. It’s not a high-rise or anything like that. We have a yard where we keep some stuff and a small office area that gets a bit drafty in the winter. We’ve been part of this village community for a while now. Most of the people who work here live close by, so we all know each other’s families. It makes the workday feel a bit more relaxed, though we still have a lot to get through. Fancy mission statements aren't found on our walls. Mostly we just have calendars and some old photos. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. You get used to the pace of life on this side of town. We handle a variety of things, whatever the current project needs. It’s a bit of this and a bit of that. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. We'd rather be out back checking the inventory or talking to the drivers who come through. It’s a plain, straightforward way to run a business and it works for us.
