Malnad Technologies Pvt Ltd is based in Basavanagudi, inside the Arunodaya Society at 31/5. It’s more of a residential vibe here, which we actually prefer over the busy commercial streets. We moved into this spot because it was close to where a few of us live. The office is basically just a converted floor with some desks and a small kitchen area where the kettle is always running. We work on various software bits and pieces. It isn't always glamorous work, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We have a few plants in the window that we occasionally remember to water. Our day starts around nine, and we usually wrap up by six unless something goes wrong at the last minute. We don't have any big slogans or corporate values posted on the walls. We just believe in showing up and doing the work we said we would do. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat, or we see the kids playing in the society grounds while we’re on a break. It feels like a very normal, human place to work. We aren't looking to become some giant firm. We just want to provide for ourselves and do decent work for the people who hire us. It's a simple life, and being in Basavanagudi makes it feel even more like home for us.
