Fortune Agro Impex

Fortune House is where we operate, over in Mallathahalli. It’s specifically in Sir M Visvesvaraya Layout, 9th Block. The area has grown a lot since we first moved in. Finding the place can be a bit tricky if you aren't familiar with Kengunte 1st Main Road, but we’re at No. 343. We handle a lot of import and export for agricultural goods. It sounds bigger than it feels when you’re standing in our office. It’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of shipping labels. We spend a lot of time checking prices and talking to transporters. There’s always a bit of stress when a container is delayed at the port or a truck gets stuck. We drink far too much tea to keep our energy up. The office isn't particularly fancy. We have some old wooden shelves filled with samples of grains and spices that we’ve traded over the years. Some of the jars have lost their labels, but we know what’s inside. We don't have a big corporate culture here. It’s just a few of us trying to make sure the orders go out on time and the quality is what we promised. Sometimes we stay late when the time zones don't line up with our overseas contacts. It’s part of the job. We like the neighborhood; it’s mostly residential so it stays relatively quiet in the evenings. We’re just a regular business doing regular work.
