Malayalam Media Publishers &Distributors

We operate out of room 3018 on the second floor. It’s not a huge space, but it’s enough for what we do at Malayalam Media Publishers & Distributors. We deal with a lot of print material and boxes, so the floor is often covered with stacks of things waiting to be moved. Being on the second floor means we’re constantly carrying bundles up and down. It keeps us busy. The office is pretty simple. We’ve got some old wooden desks and a couple of computers that have seen better days. It isn't a fancy setup by any means. We focus on the publishing and getting things out to the people who need them. Sometimes the hallways are a bit dark, and the building itself is quite old. You can hear the noise from the other offices on our floor, but we just keep our door shut and get on with the day. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting area. If someone comes by, they usually just walk right into the middle of the work. It’s a bit disorganized at times because of all the paper and books, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time checking proofs and talking to drivers about deliveries. It’s just a honest day’s work in a small office. We aren't looking for awards for our decor; we just want to get the magazines and books out on time. The windows are a bit small, but they let in enough light.
