We’re working out of Gurjar Mansion, which is at 156/9 in Kempamma Layout. This is right by Hulimav on Bannerghatta Road in Bangalore. If you know this part of the city, you know how the traffic on Bannerghatta Road can get. It’s always a bit of a crawl out there. But tucked away in Kempamma Layout, it’s slightly better. We are Makemytrip.Com, at least this specific branch is. The building itself, Gurjar Mansion, isn't anything spectacular to look at from the outside. It’s just where we have our desks and computers. We spend most of the day handling travel details and talking to people on the phone. It gets pretty loud in the office when everyone is talking at once, but that’s just how it goes. There’s a small park nearby where some of us go to sit for a few minutes during lunch just to get some air. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Mostly, it’s just a lot of people working hard to keep things moving. The pincode is 560076, and we've been in this layout for some time now. We drink a lot of coffee to stay alert throughout the day. It’s just a group of regular people doing a job in a regular building. No corporate slogans on the walls, just some maps and notes taped up here and there. We focus on the work and don't worry too much about the rest. It's a busy life on Bannerghatta Road but we manage it just fine every day.
