Up here on the first floor in Frazer Town, things stay pretty busy. We’re located on Promenade Road, which is a nice enough spot, though finding parking on 1st Cross can be a real pain sometimes. Maharashtra Hybrid Seeds Company Ltd. is what we call ourselves, but to us, it’s just about getting the seeds out to the people who need them. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to folks out in the fields or checking on the latest batches. The office isn't anything special. We have some old desks, plenty of filing cabinets, and samples of what we’re working on scattered around. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking details to make sure everything is right. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with big meetings and polished presentations. Usually, it’s just a few of us drinking tea and figuring out the delivery schedule for the next season. Being in a residential layout like this makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a big office park. You can hear the neighborhood sounds outside while we work. We’ve been in this trade for a long time, and we’ve seen the seasons change more times than I can count. It’s a steady job, and we take it one day at a time, making sure the seeds are ready when the rain comes for the farmers.
