Maharani Fancy & Gift Palace

Maharani Fancy & Gift Palace is situated at 45 on the 1st Main Road in Yeshwantpur. We are pretty close to the Bombay Dying outlet, so most people use that to find us. This shop is full of what we call "fancy" items—things like colorful bangles, hair clips, earrings, and all the small stuff that makes a difference. We also have a good selection of gift items, like small statues and decorative boxes. The shop is quite narrow, so we have things hanging from the ceiling and piled up on the counters. It’s a bright place because we have lots of mirrors so people can see how the jewelry looks on them. When the festive seasons come around, it gets really crowded in here with people looking for matching accessories for their new clothes. We spend a lot of time helping folks find the exact shade of green or red they need. It’s a lot of small talk and laughter throughout the day. The noise from the 1st Main Road never really stops, but inside, we are focused on the beads and the trinkets. The street outside is usually busy with traffic and people walking to the nearby shops, but we don't mind the noise. We’ve been here long enough to see the styles change many times. It’s just a local shop doing its best to keep the shelves full of pretty things for the neighborhood.
