Maharaj Home Appliances is located at 85/4 on Marve Road in Basaveshwara Nagar. We are right across from the HDFC Bank and the Malad Gymkhana area. It’s a good spot because people usually know where the bank is when they are giving directions. We sell things like mixers, fans, and other small machines people use in their kitchens. It’s not a huge warehouse, just a regular shop floor where we keep the boxes stacked up against the walls. Sometimes the boxes get a bit dusty, so we have to wipe them down every morning before we open. We have a lot of different brands, and we try to know how each one works so we can explain it if someone asks a question. Marve Road can be quite a nightmare with traffic during the peak hours, but it brings a lot of people past our front door. We spend most of our day here, talking to people about which stove or grinder might be better for their house. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We don't have any fancy sales pitches or marketing. If something is good, we say it is. If we don't have it, we tell people where they might find it. Basaveshwara Nagar has a lot of families, so we see many mothers and grandmothers coming in to see what’s new. It’s a simple life, just running the shop and making sure the inventory stays balanced.
