Magic Point

Magic Point is located at 286/1&6 in the Commercial Plaza. We are right on Kamaraj Road, which stays busy almost every single day of the week. Most people find us because we are directly opposite to Ibrahim Sahib Street. It is one of those areas where there is always something going on outside the door. The Commercial Plaza itself has a lot of different businesses coming and going, but we have stayed put here for the time being. We started this because we wanted a place of our own on Kamaraja Road. It is a bit of a trek for some folks to get here through the traffic, but once you are on this street, everything is close by. The shop isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the view of the plaza, which can be annoying when we are trying to get things organized inside. We do our own cleaning and stock the shelves ourselves when things arrive. It is a lot of work keeping a shop running in such a fast-paced part of town. We usually have a radio playing in the background to drown out the car horns from the road. It feels like a real community around Ibrahim Sahib Street, with the same faces passing by every morning. We just focus on getting through the day and helping whoever walks through the door. It is not fancy, but it is ours.
