Our place is located in Anand Nagar, specifically in the Dommasandra area of Sarjapur. We are quite close to the State Bank of Mysore, which makes it easy for people to find us. We have been involved with silk for a long time, and this location serves as our main hub for the area. The building is a simple one, nothing too flashy on the outside. Inside, we have quite a lot of stock stored. It is mostly rolls of silk and finished pieces waiting to be moved out. We have a few staff members who have been with us for years, and they know the stock better than I do sometimes. The office is just a small corner with a couple of desks and a lot of ledgers. We still like writing things down on paper. During the harvest seasons, it gets very busy around here, and we sometimes have boxes stacked up in the hallways. It is a bit messy, but we always know where things are. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, so we are always telling people to wipe their feet before they come in. We do not spend much on decorating the place because we are more focused on the silk itself. Most of our day is spent checking the quality of the fabric and talking to the local weavers who bring their work to us. It is a steady pace of life.
