Madan Watch Co

We are located at No.26 on 8th Cross in the Malleswaram area. This is a much quieter part of the neighborhood compared to the busy main road. We have been here for a long time now. The shop is quite small and we mostly focus on watches. We do a lot of repairs every day. People bring in their old watches that have stopped ticking. It is a lot of very fine and careful work. You really need a lot of patience to do this job well. Malleswaram has a lot of old history and we feel like we are a part of that. We know most of the people who live in the houses nearby. They often stop in just to say hello even if they do not need a repair. We have these old wooden cabinets for all our stock. They have been here since the day we first opened. We do not see any good reason to change them now. It is a very simple life running a small shop like this. We open up the shutters in the morning and close when it starts to get dark. Sometimes we have to stay a bit late to finish a very tricky repair. We do not use much modern technology in our work. We just use our traditional tools and a little bit of oil. It is how we learned to do things and it still works fine today.
